Featuring a series of cryptic calls and responses, the so-called “Musgrave Ritual” has long been seen as merely an eccentric tradition. But when the family’s butler disappears after becoming obsessed with the ceremony’s verses, they begin to suspect there’s more to it than meets the eye. Now Holmes must decipher the meaning behind this ancestral riddle before innocent lives are lost.
